Become a Pound Volunteer
Whatever time you can spare to volunteer is fantastic. The pound is open between 9am and 4pm seven days a week and we arrange shifts to suit our volunteers. The variety of jobs you can do whilst volunteering at the pound includes general cleaning and feeding, exercising the dogs, checking the animals over for ticks, grooming as well as showing the orphans lots of love and attention. The day just passes you by and as all of our volunteers will tell you, you get a great sense of satisfaction from helping out with a great and worthy cause.
You will need to attend a half day training session before starting work at the pound. What you would be most interested in doing and the days you are available will be discussed after ther training session.
