FOP Meetings

Friends of the Pound holds monthy general meetings for members to come along, meet with the Committee, learn about and discuss upcoming events and issues concerning the organisation and its aims.

These meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month. The next meeting will be at the Kingscliff Bowls Club and will start at 3pm and run for about 1 - 2 hours. We have had a very busy time lately with our rescues and are still in need of foster carers for dogs and cats. If you know of anyone who could help please put them in touch with, for dogs, Pam on 0421 017461 or 02 5613 6507 or Yolana 02 6674 5110 or 0449 049 136 and for cats, Sonia on 07 5590 7284 or 0439 766 243.

Next meeting at 3pm, Tuesday 13th March 2012 at the Kingscliff Bowls Club.

Please come and have your say, we would love to have some new ideas put forward to help us help the animals in our care. We'd love to see you there.

ALSO if you are not aware the Friends of the Pound market shed at the Murwillumbah showground was a casuality in the recent flooding, all of the items for sale were beyond redemption, they were taken to the tip. The girls who work at the markets are looking for bric a brac, books, china, glassware, clothes etc. If you were thinking of cleaning out your cupboards please keep the girls in mind. Please contact Dawn Holmes (Murwillumbah) on 02 6672 4653 to arrange a drop off or phone Sonia Trichter (Tweed) 0439 766 243 (will pick up).
